As a cub…

I was always kind of a creative boyo. Loved to game. Loved to draw (albeit badly XD). Loved to make fantasy narratives (many of my drawn character designs stems from those childhood own created narratives). That kinda combination spawns a certain imagination that might not be too uncommon in this fandom.

Not much later, as I get into my teens, Ive started dabbling into doing it graphically. At my painter department at my school, my mentor, bless his heart, saw me having immense fun with that and made me do all kinds of graphic designs. Even paid sometimes at actual clients!

That was the starting point of me becoming an allrounder, as I was on a painters/maker department afterall.

Learning the ropes…

As my direction was more clear (atleast, as clear as it can go for a youngun’, so basically not really), I went to De Rooi Pannen, under designer. Specifically chosen, because whilst I couldve gone all in on the graphic design aspect, I chose to combine it in a little more practical environment.

Be it as it may, I actually didnt learn much new in contrast to what Ive learned before. Until my internships, where I delved into architecture and advertising, most notably exhibition stands. Not only did i learn to visualize and model, it also went hand in hand with trying to perceive it from a guest perspective. This, whilst not entirely my “education” was incredibly fruitful, so much so that i started to teach myself!

On the hunt…

When I was finally done studying, I’ve done some targeted jobs. Not necessarily relevant per-se, but ones that kinda tackled some weakpoints. Construction for handiwork, building up events for learning event infrastructure. Some production here and there for specific knowledge. I was very much a “strategic job-hopper".

Where I DIDN’T job-hop however was into guest services. You can be an insanely good woodworker, designer, IT, whatever. If you do not understand your client, you won’t be able to serve your best. Since 2020 and ongoing, thats what I have been doing job-wise. Afterall, how are you able to design something, if you cannot understand what people desire?

Furthermore, people are so different that its never dull, and theres no skill ceiling.

So, all put together…

Nowadays, I’m basically just combining it all. All those jobs and what I have learned myself from my own accord brought me to wring myself into a position where I can serve people with a more passionate skillset, aka my creative brain xp.

In the furry community I often perceive a lot of demands that I know how to fix. Thus, YourFuzzyFiction was created, a subdomain along YourFiction, to combine my will to understand along with my drive to provide a creative solution!

Together with Chymir, another furry, but more versed in hosting and IT, we are able to do so much more than that! And that collaboration, alongside other collaborations I am building, is super motivating! I am the happiest I have ever been and its thanks to the community actually kicking under my bum to do something with what I like to do!

Thank you!! ^^
